Legal Tools and Document Checklists
Use practical document, deadline and remote-instruction checklists before requesting an assessment of a legal matter in Turkey.
These practical checklists help international clients organise documents before contacting the office. They are informational and do not calculate a final deadline or legal entitlement.
Document preparation checklist
Prepare a clear timeline, contracts, invoices, payment records, court or enforcement documents, correspondence and the identity details of the parties.
Remote instruction checklist
State where you are located, whether an original document is available and whether notarisation, apostille, sworn translation or a power of attorney may be required.
Urgent deadline check
If a notice, judgment, payment order, detention or removal decision has been served, include the exact service date. Do not rely on this page to calculate a procedural deadline.

Enforcement Proceeding Cost Calculator
This tool uses the working calculation module maintained for Turkish law. Results are indicative; current rates, limits, dates and file-specific facts must be verified.
Calculating enforcement costs: see the enforcement expenses item by item
Calculate the application fee, advance fee, collection fee, and fees for transactions outside the enforcement office by selecting the amount to be followed and the stage of the case. Also add expenses that vary depending on the case, such as notification, postage, and sales.
2026 Enforcement Fees and Rates
Enforcement costs do not consist of a single item. Fixed fees and proportional fees calculated based on the amount of enforcement or collection are evaluated separately.
| Item | 2026 Amount / Rate | Usage in account |
|---|---|---|
| Enforcement application fee | 732.00 TL | Added to initial expense |
| Advance fee | 0.5% | Based on the amount of the claim for a fixed monetary receivable |
| Execution fee for undetermined value in enforcement proceedings | 732.00 TL | Added when the relevant type of follow-up is selected |
| Fee for seizure, delivery or sale outside the enforcement office | 1,718.80 TL per transaction | Multiplied by the number of transactions entered |
| Collection fee | %4,55 – %11,38 | According to the collection stage of the file |
How is enforcement proceeding cost calculated?
A 732 TL application fee and a 0.5% advance fee of the amount to be followed up in monetary receivables are taken as the basis.
The number of notifications, postal services, seizure, custodianship, and sale procedures vary for each file. Known amounts are entered separately.
Collection fees are calculated at 4.55% before seizure; 9.10% before sale; and 11.38% during sale.
Factors affecting enforcement file costs
The total cost of two enforcement files with the same amount may differ. Procedures such as serving notices to multiple debtors, address searches, seizure of movable or immovable property, valuation, expert opinions, safekeeping, custodianship, and sales advances can increase costs. Therefore, the calculation result should be considered as an approximate cost overview.
- Attorney's fees are not included in the calculation of this tool.
- Accrued interest must be calculated separately.
- Fee exemption or special follow-up procedures may change the result.
- For the exact amount, the enforcement office where the file is located or the UYAP record should be checked.
Frequently asked questions
Who pays the enforcement costs?
The necessary fees and advances for initiating enforcement proceedings are usually paid by the creditor. If the enforcement proceedings are justified and finalized, the enforcement costs that can be legally charged to the debtor are added to the file account. Collection fees are generally collected from the debtor.
How is advance fee calculated?
In the general calculation for a fixed-value monetary receivable, the advance fee is calculated as 0.5% (5 per mille) of the amount subject to the fee.
Why does the collection fee change?
The rate increases according to the stage at which the payment is made. Payments before seizure and collections after seizure or sale are not subject to the same rate.
Why aren't notification and seizure costs added automatically?
The number of notifications, type of postage, distance to be traveled, and the procedure to be performed vary from file to file. To avoid giving a misleading fixed amount, these expenses are entered by the user.
Is the calculation result final?
No. The tool performs an approximate calculation for informational purposes. The final file calculation is based on current legislation, UYAP accruals, and advances determined by the enforcement directorate.
