Legal Tools and Document Checklists
Use practical document, deadline and remote-instruction checklists before requesting an assessment of a legal matter in Turkey.
These practical checklists help international clients organise documents before contacting the office. They are informational and do not calculate a final deadline or legal entitlement.
Document preparation checklist
Prepare a clear timeline, contracts, invoices, payment records, court or enforcement documents, correspondence and the identity details of the parties.
Remote instruction checklist
State where you are located, whether an original document is available and whether notarisation, apostille, sworn translation or a power of attorney may be required.
Urgent deadline check
If a notice, judgment, payment order, detention or removal decision has been served, include the exact service date. Do not rely on this page to calculate a procedural deadline.

Compound Interest Calculator
This tool uses the working calculation module maintained for Turkish law. Results are indicative; current rates, limits, dates and file-specific facts must be verified.
Compound interest calculation
Calculate the total amount and interest earnings that may occur at the end of the period by entering the principal, annual interest rate, term, and compounding frequency.
How is compound interest calculated?
In compound interest calculations, the amount at the end of the period is determined according to the principal, the periodic interest rate, and the total number of periods. The basic formula used is "Total = Principal × (1 + annual rate / number of periods)^(number of periods × year)".
This is the starting amount for interest calculation.
Shows how many times a year interest is added to the principal.
Expresses the actual annual mathematical increase after the compounding effect.
What is the difference from simple interest?
In simple interest, the profit is calculated only on the initial principal amount. In compound interest, interest accrued in previous periods is also included in the calculation of subsequent periods. Therefore, the mathematical sum may change as the frequency of compounding increases at the same nominal rate and time.
Frequently asked questions
Does compound interest calculation include tax?
No. The vehicle shows the gross mathematical result; withholding tax and product-based deductions are evaluated separately.
What does monthly compound interest mean?
This means dividing the annual nominal rate into monthly periods and adding the interest accrued each month to the principal.
